Plain Jane Album Launch - Lotte Mullan

So Soffles headed to The Slaughtered Lamb in Clerkenwell for Lotte Mullan's album launch: Plain Jane. Lotte looked and sounded amazing rocking it out even getting the ukelele out at one point to ragga it up a bit. Soffles also did their fair share of raggering it up that night as per usual but there may have been one to many chillies in the ragga mix that night but c'mon if you have a pot of chilled cucumber dip near the sensations are good yaaaaah??!!! Well one more thing to say Soffles Dig Lotte!!

SofflesSofflesSoffles, there has been a bit of hibernation going on at the Pitta Chip ranch but good news Soffles are back and ready to roast you up a treat first stop Lotte Mullan's birthday bash at Fortress studios, have to say had a bit of competition with some spring rolls but there you go, pretty sure Soffles came out tops!

Well hello there!

It may seem it has all been a little bit quiet on the Pitta Chip front lately but Soffles has been busy in the Kitchen creating tasty new flavours and designing something very cool to keep them fresh. More to come very soon............

Well what a nice crew of Scofflers were out on Thursday, it has to be one of the bonus' of being a Pitta Chip Chick you get to chat to everyone.....well everyone thats down with Pitta Chips anyway. If you didn't get down to Manderley on Thursday the exhibition is still on for viewing until the 16th January and is very cool so defo worth taking a visit.

Let me guess.... it's that time of the week when the craving for spicy Pitta Chips is kicking in! Luck would have it that after a busy pitta making session Soffle has finally managed to put down the chillies so she can tell you exactly where you can get your next Pitta Chip fix!

Soffles will make her way to Finsbury Park returning to John Jones on Thursday 27th Nov to their project space for the private view of Manderley. I hope to see you there!

This collection of works presents such dichotomies - each individual artist extracting a sense of beauty from the profane. August yet imposing marquetry, warningly serene photography, and magnetically hypnotic but voyeuristic video work: all initially appear to embody one intention, yet possess in equal measure, opposite qualities. Each of the artists have either studied or taught in the Printmaking Department at the Royal College of Art, London.

What is Soffles?

Tired of the potato crisp? Probably not but come on we all need a bit of variation in our life, so what is Soffles? All goodness you will be pleased to hear:

Soffles and Co was troffling round Vyner Street looking out for hungry faces, did we find some??? Oh yes we found loads and for the first time Soffles made a profit!!!!! so thankyou for all your generous contributions going towards the survival of Soffles.

After a day of roasting at the Soffle Pitta ranch we headed for the galleries and first job on the list was to make sure the workers had enough fuel in them for the rest of the night....this means ONE thing FEED THEM SOFFLES!!!!! And they were pretty happy, even the boss was happy to take a Soffle break.

As we headed down towards the end of Vyner Street fireworks were going off and we carried on sharing the Soffle experience with these two friendly fellas. And of course no Pitta Chip Chick could be complete without a Saucy Chick to distribute the perfect accompaniment to a pitta chip, so who better to step up for the role then our very own Fagan mixed up with a bit of Coronation Street style SHIV!

   As the last few bags were munched by the Soffle hunters below it was decided this will defo be a regular spot for the Soffle crew. So see you there in December for some festive treats!
