Mechanical Alchemist's Herd at Sargent and Co Finsbury Park 25th November
Mechanical Alchemist
AT
Metal worker Mechanical Alchemist has got his herd together for a little shindig at
Super cool vintage bike shop 'Sargent and Co' in Finsbury Park. The herd being made up of vintage bike parts this seems to be the perfect spot for a party.
Top of the guest list was 'Stokey' the hot bellied robot who didn't just keep us warm but heated up Soffle's tasty Sweet Potato, Chilli and Coconut Soup, perfect for dipping the old Pitta chips in. However good a Pitta Chip is a little dipping can only make it all the more tasty, keeping in with the seasons Summer we have tzatziki, Winter we have Soup.......simple sense eh!
Anyway back to the metal man, also known as Pigskin he bought along lamps, monkey faces and his own sprused up golden postbike. That night it turned into a motorbike, well sounded like one a little trick of placing a few balloons in the wheels...genius!
And for Tanktress:
Loads of 2 wheeled friends for the Pitta Chip Truck to hang out with, looking pretty smart with her sign written box-oh yeah!

In celebration of the redesign, Icon hosted a party at the Dray Walk gallery, the Old Truman Brewery on Brick lane. The night was a great success with special thanks to Asahi, Millers Gin and the tasty treats from Soffles. |

Icon Magazine
ICON LAUNCH PARTY BRICK LANE
http://www.iconeye.com/
http://www.iconeye.com/
For Icon magazine's launch party Soffles needed a bit of transport to get down to Brick Lane as the bus just aint really all that fun. So it was time for a little pimping of Soffle's Western Flyer Beach cruiser. Previously known as Tanktress she has now reinvented herself as "Tanktress The Pitta Chip Truck", her new focus in life, transporting Pitta Chips of course!
It was quite a journey down to Brick Lane, riding in combo with a couple of Soffle's favourite chippers, looking on as there were a few very near misses with the wide load on the back full of pitta chip goodies. Almost got into a little ruffle on the way down as kids were chucking video tapes at each other that had been left outside for the local Oxfam-Nice! One came flying over hitting Tanktress, luckily she doesn't have much paint work to chip or there could have been more than a few Fs involved if you know what i'm saying!
So flashing lights and all Soffle arrived safely at The Icon Party for Tanktresses debut as a Pitta Chip Truck, she and the Pitta Chips were in high demand, party goers flocking over to the Pitta Chip Truck for tasty delights and to check out the vintage cruiser. And here are some pics from the night.....
As the night came to an end there wasn't a Pitta Chip in sight just a Frenchman riding round in circles ringing Tanktresses bell!

Plain Jane Album Launch - Lotte Mullan
So Soffles headed to The Slaughtered Lamb in Clerkenwell for Lotte Mullan's album launch: Plain Jane. Lotte looked and sounded amazing rocking it out even getting the ukelele out at one point to ragga it up a bit. Soffles also did their fair share of raggering it up that night as per usual but there may have been one to many chillies in the ragga mix that night but c'mon if you have a pot of chilled cucumber dip near the sensations are good yaaaaah??!!! Well one more thing to say Soffles Dig Lotte!!
